The Vidya Shikshan Prasarak Mandal Nagpur is a pioneering Institution in the field of education. It is registered under Society’s Registration Act 1860. Vide Registration No.782/71 (Nagpur) and also under Bombay Public Trust Act 1950, vide Registration No.

F-1349 (Nagpur).

The Society is conducting around 51 educational Institutes including Medical College,
Dental College, Physiotherapy College, Nursing Institutes & two Hospitals with about 750 beds occupancy. It imparts education through degress colleges in the Medicine faculties of Arts, Commerce, Science, Business Management, Education in addition of Medicine faculty. It also has a good network of Institutions engaged in Imparting education from pre-primary level to 10+2 level, thereby Imparting education to more than 10,000 students.

In the faculty of education, the Sanstha is successfully running following institutes:-
(i)   Jyotiba Fule College of Education, Pawanbhumi, Nagpur conducting B.Ed. Course.
(ii)  Jyotiba Fule Adhyapak Vidyalaya, , Pawanbhumi, Nagpur conducting D.Ed. Nagpur.
(iii) Vivekanand Junior College of Education, Nandanvan Nagpur Conducting D.Ed. Course.
(iv) VSPM’S D.Ed. College, Wardhmannagar, Nagpur conducting D.Ed. Course.

Adding one more feather in its cap the Vidya Shikshan Prasarak Mandal, Nagpur Proposes to start New B.Ed. College in Marathi Medium from the Academic Session 2006-2007 with intake capacity of 100 seats. This shall be a separate Independent unit conducting B.Ed. Regular Course with affillation from Nagpur University.

The institution is well equipped with all the infrastructural facilities required as per the norms for the smooth and regular conduct of B.Ed. Course. The Vidya Shikshan Prasarak Mandal is enough resourceful & having potential to make available all the Physical, Instructional, Infrastructural facilities, Finance & other requirements as the norms of NCTE for the smooth & successful conduct of B.Ed. Course.
