VSPM  D.ED. COLLEGE, WARDHMANNAGAR, NAGPUR

Established in the year 2005-06 this institute is run by Vidya Shikshan Prasarak Mandal, Nagpur-a pioneering institution in the field of education conducting around 51 educational institutes including Medical College, Dental College, Physiotherapy college, Nursing Institutes & two Hospital with about 750 beds occupancy. It imparts education through degree colleges in the faculties of Arts, Commerce, Science, Business Management, Education in addition to Medicine faculty. It also has a good network of Institutions engaged in imparting education from pre-primary level to 10+2 level, thereby imparting education to more than 10,000 students.

In the faculty of education, the Sanstha is also successfully running following institutes:-

(i)  Jyotiba Fule College of Education, Pawanbhumi, Nagpur conducting B.Ed. Course.

(ii) Vivekanand Junior College of Education, Nandanwan Nagpur conducting D.Ed. Course.

(iii) Jyotiba Fule Adyapak Vidyalaya, Pawanbhumi, Nagpur conducting D.Ed. Course.

The Vidya Shikshan Prasarak Mandal’s D.Ed. College, Wardhmannagar, Nagpur
( NCTE Code no. 122127 ) is recognized by NCTE with approved intake capacity of 50 students. The college is conducting the D.Ed. course in Hindi medium imparting Co-education. The College is well equipped with all the infrastructural facilities, Physical, Instructional facilities required as per the norms of NCTE for the smooth & regular conduct of existing D.Ed. Course.

The college has applied to NCTE for grant of recognition of additional intake in the existing D.Ed. programme in Marathi medium from the academic session 2006-07. The College as well as the parent institution i.e. Vidya Shikshan Prasarak Mandal, Nagpur is enough resourceful & having potential to make available all the physical, Instructional, Infrastrctural facilities, Finance & other requirements as the norms of NCTE for the smooth & successful conduct of D.Ed. course with additional intake capacity also.
